Silverado and Blue Ridge fires
el Don staff woke up last Monday morning to the fast-moving Silverado Fire threatening the Orange Hills and causing Santiago Canyon College to evacuate. As soon as the RAVE Alerts were sent, our reporters and photographers hurried to the scene to talk to officials and take shots of the smoky skies and burning embers that best demonstrate what this fire (and all of 2020 tbh) was all about. CAL FIRE’s latest update on the Silverado and Blue Ridge fires puts containment of both at 93%.
